License agreement includes foam vehicle for Azelaic Acid

Foamix Pharmaceuticals has received a $2.5 million milestone payment under a license agreement with Bayer HealthCare. Foamix is entitled to royalties and further milestone payments under certain conditions. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Under the agreement, Bayer has licensed a foam vehicle from Foamix for its compound azelaic acid. Azelaic Acid Foam 15% is currently in Phase III development for the treatment of Rosacea....
